    »ÆÉ«Ö±²¥teachers can nominate a deserving, post-trade electrotechnology student in the Newcastle, Hunter, or Central Coast regions for this award valued at $500 to support their studies and continued professional development in the electrotechnology industries.

    Liz Woolfson established the Josh Woolfson Memorial Award in 2012 with the Hunter TAFE Foundation. It's a touching tribute to her late husband and his remarkable contributions to the industrial electronics industry.

    Nominations for the Josh Woolfson Memorial Encouragement Award close at 5 pm (AEST) Friday 29 August 2025.

    Who can you nominate?

    To be eligible for a Josh Woolfson Memorial Award, the student must:

    • be enrolled in a post-trade electrotechnology qualification at »ÆÉ«Ö±²¥in the Hunter or Central Coast regions
    • demonstrate commitment to their study and career goals. You can provide evidence of this by listing achievements or identifying their skills and strengths
    • be a good student and represent »ÆÉ«Ö±²¥and the Hunter TAFE Foundation well. You can provide evidence of this by sharing positive grades and attendance records, character traits, or values
    • not have received a scholarship from the Hunter TAFE Foundation for one year before 29 August 2025.
